Our work force consists of ten full-time, sworn officers, two reserve officers, and one civilian employee.
The mission of the Madisonville Police Department is to provide service to the citizens and visitors of the City of Madisonville by:
Protecting life, liberty and property;
Preventing crime;
Preserving civil order by enforcing the statutes of the United States of America, the State of Texas, Madison County, and the City of Madisonville; and
Providing assistance and service to our community and visitors through education, advice, and referrals.
I am committed to knowing that the Madisonville Police Department is serving this community in the direction that the citizens of Madisonville want and expect. The relationship between the community and the police department has never been more important, whether taking into consideration the Homeland Security issues of our entire nation or own local problems.
As the community and the police department work together in being observant in our neighborhood and staying active in our children’s lives as they go through school, we can make our community a safer and better place to live.
Thank you for viewing the police department web site, and please feel free to call or stop by, whether it’s to ask a question, if you have a problem, or just to visit.
